Manufactured 1914. The model 1895 was produced from 1895 to 1931 with about 426 000 rifles produced. Round 24″(609.6mm) barrel with flat-top rear sight. Box magazine with straight grip walnut stock and crescent steel buttplate.The stock has been “stretched” by cutting it off 1,5″ ahead of the buttplate and adding 2 x rubber spacers to the stock. This could readily be restored to original configuration. Fairly good original condition.
