086-F04-587 .30-06sprg Brno Model 98 Sporting Rifle

A rather interesting rifle built by Brno in 1964 on the standard M98 action. Barrel of 22″(558.8mm) with typical Brno banded foresight and single leaf rear sight. Stippling to top of receiver ring, low serial number of 084, Brno stamps to both barrel and receiver. Typical early Brno lines to stock with 1/2 length fore-end with scnabel to tip, chequered wrist and fore-end and straight classic lines to butt. Excellent original condition.
