In a rather battered leather case with an original Needham trade label in it. The Needham had the distinction of being the first ejector shotgun and the underlever is a hinged lever which is not be confused with the Jones rotary underlever. Refer to Page 30 of G Boothroyd “Shotguns & Gunsmiths”. Full scroll engraving to round action which is marked “Needham’s Patent”. Damascus 27,25″ (692mm) barrels which one suspects have been shortened from the norm of 30″. Particularly well figured walnut, straight wrist stock with a 14,3″ L.O.P. Stock has been professionally refinished. Fair to good bores with some very light pitting, black powder proofed. Neat Damascus pattern to barrels which still have some of the original brown finish to them. Good overall condition but for shortened barrels.
