083-F041-.500N.E. Double Rifle by I.Hollis & Sons – Cased
In leather trimmed hard canvas case. A boxlock, non-ejector with 26″ barrels marked to “I.Hollis & Son’s London”, carrying a ramp foresight and three leaf rear sight on mounting rib. Rifle is built on a Webley action with Greener crossbolt, double lugs and disc-set strikers. Barrel flats are marked “Cordite 75-570max & 500ex”. Colour case hardened action. Well figured stock with ebony tip & wrap-around chequering to fore-end, fine chequering to wrist which is equipped with a steel grip-cap and a solid red Silver’s recoil pad giving a L.O.P of 15″. Rifle is in exceptionally good condition with good bores.
