Built on the M1903 Mannlicher-Schoenauer action with detachable 24″ barrel and foreend. Manufactured 1907. Barrel has typical H&H ramp fore-sight and four leaf express rear sight. It is marked to “Holland & Holland 98 New Bond Street London” and “Holland’s Patent” to knox form along with London proofs. Rifle has been professionally restocked to original pattern with horn fore-end tip, wrap-around chequering to fore-end wrist, opening steel buttcap, shadow-line cheekpiece and Silver’s pad to stock which has a 15″ l.o.p. Forward swivel to barrel, rear sling mount to butt. Rifle barrel has expected cordite wear to it but should still have a reasonable life to it. Good refinished condition.
