078A-D047 – .38s&w Webley MK IV Service Revolver
Developed in response to a War Office request for a lighter and easier to handle than the .455 Webley series, unfortunately the Enfield No.2 Mk1 was adopted instead. The Webley Mk4 however was adopted by the SAP and continued to see service for many years after the Walther P38/P1 replaced it. Chequered bakelite grips, 5″ barrel, British military acceptance/inspection stamps to it. A “War Finish” model. Good condition.
