Rifle was originally a 6.5x54mm Mauser but was subsequently rebarreled to a .243win owing to the difficulties in obtaining the original ammunition. The serial number & rifle featured in Jon Speed’s book when it was still in 6.5mm caliber. Barrel of 24″ has no sights to it and the action has been drilled & tapped and bolt bent for scope mounting purposes. Double set trigger mechanism. lever release missing to magazine floorplate and replaced with a screw. Stock in good original condition. Good bore. overall good condition.
