75A-C011 – French Model 1842 Chassepot
Manufactured by Kokura Arsenal. Used on the Mod 1897 [type 30], 1905 [type 38] and 1939 [type 99] Arisaka rifles and carbines. Wooden contour grips fastened by screws, a contoured bird’s head pommel. Early type metal scabbard. Bright finished blade. Hook to crossguard. Very good plus condition. Includes leather frog.
