Bayonet was originally built for British military use on the P-14 rifle but then taken into US service with the P-17 rifle. Ricasso marked “Remington 1913 & 9 17” with British military acceptance/inspection stamps to reverse side which have been crossed out and “U.S” ordnance stamp below. US military type scabbard. Excellent condition.
