078A-F073 – 12ga William Powell & Son S/S Shotgun – Cased

In “W. Powell” labelled hard leather, brass cornered case. Straps and handle to case are missing, case includes ebony cleaning rods, brushes and “Hawksley” marked oil bottle. Case has the potential to clean-up well. Damascus barrels of 30″, black powder proofed and marked “Not for ball”. Bores are still good. Extensive engraving to action, bottom screw shows sign of amateur gunsmithing. Well figured straight hand stock has a L.O.P. of 13,25″, relatively short. Action is tight and the gun has the potential to clean-up well, stock would need to be refinished and the barrels rebrowned. Manufactured 1880’s.
